AI-Powered Wound Care, From Image to Insight
Epitello turns every diabetic wound photo into structured clinical intelligence. It helps clinicians assess, track, and manage patients with confidence, not guesswork.

The Problem
Under-supported, and costly to get wrong
Diabetic wound care is one of the most under-supported corners of chronic disease management, and one of the most costly to get wrong.
Wound assessment is still largely subjective.
Two clinicians can look at the same wound and describe it differently.
Patient histories live across paper charts, phone photos, and scattered notes.
Nothing connects a wound's past to its present.
Lab results and follow-up data are rarely tied back to the wound itself.
That makes it hard to see whether a treatment is actually working.
Delayed recognition of deterioration is one of the leading drivers of amputation risk.
Too often, because no one had a clear, comparable record of how the wound changed over time.
Clinicians don't need another app that just stores photos. They need a system that understands wounds.
Our Solution
A system that becomes coherent
Epitello is a fine-tuned artificial intelligence platform built specifically for diabetic wound management. It's trained on 2,000+ real clinical wound images paired with expert-labeled clinical data, so it recognizes what actually matters in a wound: tissue composition, necrosis, slough, granulation, and wound-edge characteristics.

But Epitello isn't just a vision model. It's a complete clinical workflow: every wound photo is analyzed, every patient gets a living case file, and every test result finds its place in that file, turning fragmented, one-off observations into a continuous, structured picture of a patient's care journey.
Built Around the Real Clinical Workflow
Three capabilities, one continuous record
AI Wound Analysis Model
Our proprietary AI model is fine-tuned on a curated dataset of 2,000+ diabetic wound images and their corresponding clinical inputs. This enables it to extract structured, consistent visual findings from a single photo: tissue type, necrosis, slough, granulation, wound-edge status, and more.
The model has been presented at the EWMA (European Wound Management Association) Congress, one of wound care's most respected international scientific gatherings. It's validation that Epitello's approach holds up not just in a lab, but in front of the clinical community that treats these wounds every day.
The AI is designed to observe, not diagnose. It gives clinicians a fast, consistent, structured read on what's visible in the image, while clinical judgment stays exactly where it belongs: with the clinician.

Patient Case Files
Every patient gets a dedicated, ongoing case file, so a wound is never assessed in isolation again. Clinicians can open a patient's history, see how a wound has evolved across visits, and monitor progress over time instead of relying on memory or disconnected photos.

Test & Lab Result Tracking
Lab results and diagnostic tests are saved directly inside each patient's file, alongside their wound images and assessments. This means the full clinical picture, visual findings, test results, and treatment history, lives in one place, giving clinicians the context they need to make better decisions, faster.

Why It Matters
Less time reconstructing the past. More time acting on it.
Epitello doesn't replace clinical judgment. It removes the noise around it. By combining AI-assisted image analysis with structured patient records and integrated test tracking, clinicians spend less time reconstructing a patient's history and more time acting on it.
